  Adam, Nicole and team are an amazing team..In regards to noise all you had to do is call reception or go and see them and they would have definitely put a stop to it, Discovery prides itself on letting people have a great and enjoyable time...

  Backpackers were not going down to the smoking area as I was and I struggled with the having to go up and down the stairs to smoke they had all their doors to the rooms open smoke going in everywhere a big mess on the veranda of half empty alcohol bottles laying around and clothes towels and all sorts hanging off rails and just thinking they are gone out for the night they come back with 6 Aussie men to party afterwards OMG.

  First I would just like to say Susan Reeves that due to the staff at Discovery Parks Giving our family special room rates due to the size of our function in Emerald, I think it’s very distasteful for the review you have written...

  The best thing is that the rooms are very good clean and fresh but a little tip for the cleaning Team when I turned the air-con on a lot of black grit went all over my bed and the floor.

  I would just personally like to say to anyone doing a review, go to the staff and say you have a problem, because maybe they don’t know about it to fix it, give them the chance before hopping on and giving bad reviews to businesses...

  Great place to stay and visit. Many types of rooms for all budgets available within the historic buildings, with comfortable furnishings. They have great meals available everyday, which were top quality. Many food options available. Very friendly and helpful staff.

  99% of the time I am sure they would try and fix it, as I know Discovery would if you spoke to them...Thankyou Discovery Team for looking after all my family on that weekend, I and the rest of my family are very grateful and will definitely be back again!!!

  Bookings were stuffed up so instead of just having to pay for one family room as I need a bed of my own due to back and chronic illness and on disability my daughter cares for me I had to then Pay $300 for two rooms.

  Obviously the manager of the place doesn't live on the premises or he or she would of put a stop to it one would hope.

  Never got told that we had to book meals or meal times at all so we never got to have our complimentary breakfast and dinner as was told that came with the rooms.

  As far as meals go, you ask the question on book in what time the meals are like most people would do as I did when I’ve stayed there many times...I will confirm as I did the bookings of the rooms that you were advised on many occasions that there was no family rooms available as they were all allocated to the elders at my request...If you had of said you just wanted a room there would have been no confusion, but you chose to say you were part of the Reeves bookings and that’s how the confusion was caused...

  If at any stage you weren’t happy, you could have just seen Nicole or Adam in reception and they would have helped in any way as they always do, just take a look at all the other reviews...Your own Father In Law Couldn’t make it down the stairs so they allowed him to smoke upstairs to make it easier for him, so maybe ask the question and you will get the answers you wanting...
